Sad News

Late Sri Jitendra Misra , Senior Upadhyaksha of Akhil Bhartiya Sri Kanyakubja Pratinidhi Sabha breathed his last on Tuesday, 24th May,2011 after a brief illness. The last rites were done by his son Lt. Col. Sanjiv Misra and attended by a large number of persons.

After successfully completing his training and course of Commercial Pilot License from Flying Club,Lucknow, he preferred to enroll at the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court as a lawyer attending to Criminal cases and ably assisted his father Late Pt. Shri Dhar Misra, Advocate. He was President of D.P.N.Educational Society that runs educational institutions at Lucknow and Mohanlalgunj including Kasturba Balika Vidyalaya Inter College and Navjivan Boys Inter College. He was Mantri of ABSKP Sabha before taking over as Upadhyaksha. He is survived by his son and two married daughters.

Mother of Sri A.K. Tripathi (Treasurer of Kanyakubj Sabha) passed away. She was 91. She was from famous “Mishra Bandhu” family of Golaganj Lucknow. “Shanti Paath” was solemnized at her Golaganj residence. Last ceremony was attended by members of Bar Justice D.K. Trivedi, Mr Trivedi, DG Police of Delhi, Sri Upendra Misra Secretary Kanyakubj Sabha & members, office bearers of Kanyakubj Sabha & any more dignitaries of city.
