Kanyakubj Brahmins

Meeting of Executive Body of Kanyakubja Sabha was held at residence of Sri Upendra ji Misra, Secretary  on 29.08.10. The executives approved minutes of last meeting. Names of persons giving scholarships were informed to members. Names of persons contributing to scholarship has already been put on web site. It was decided to give bicycles to meritorious students instead of cash, as it will facilitate daily commutation of student thereby their saving money which will be more than Rs.4000/- per year. Justice D.K. Trivedi President, also contributed Rs.2000/- for this purpose. Thus, total amount for scholarship fund is Rs.9000/- on that day. We expect amount for scholarship will grow as more & more person are willing to donate. Dr. R.K. Misra, retired Director of Medical & Health Services UP and renowned Orthopedic Surgeon of town, was also present in the meeting. At present, Dr. Mishra is the president of District Orthopedic Club, Lucknow. We all congratulated him for this honor.  In the last, every one thanked the host (of course, hostess Mrs Misra) for wonderful snacks & tea.

Next meeting will be held at residence of Pandit J.K. Tripthi, Vice President.
